EducatioNest environments: the right to beauty

The role of the environment is central to our educational philosophy.

The environment is considered the third educator, alongside families and teachers. An environment that must guarantee the child's right to beauty, order, and creativity; it must guarantee their right to investigate, discover, and learn through their bodies, their eyes, and through interaction with materials and their peers.

The architectural design of our spaces was entrusted to ZPZ Partners and is the result of a dialogue between Design and Pedagogy. It is the fruit of ongoing research and experimentation, studying shapes, lighting, and materials, with the aim of creating environments that stimulate, accompany, and enrich children's daily research.
From this perspective, the environment—understood as a set of spatial and sensorial qualities that include architecture, furnishings, and the intangible qualities of space (color, light, materials, acoustics)—is crucial to the educational project, giving it voice and opportunity.

The design challenge, tackled by ZPZ Partners together with EducatioNest, is to build a childhood environment where the functional and aesthetic identity conveys and supports a specific image of the child: competent, exploratory, gifted with a hundred languages and great abilities.

An environment that serves as a great laboratory for children's self-learning, one that stimulates and supports their diverse growth paths.
