Middle School
Our vision is to provide the right, the reasoning ability, the intellectual freedom and the best academic preparation to give the children of tomorrow back the opportunity to shape their own future.
Since 2016, EducatioNest has been preparing children and young people for all secondary school pathways, in Italy and abroad, because raising bilingual children means raising open minds , rich in meaning and possibilities. International openness and an experiential pedagogical approach are the foundation of our educational philosophy.
Our choice is to offer children and young people theopportunity to choose between the various expressive languages and study methods that are best for them, so that they can grow, learn and then study and develop as young adults with a critical sense and prepared for the future.
Subjects will be taught 50% in Italian and 50% in English to achieve advanced academic proficiency in both languages. The third language of study is Chinese.
We offer a dedicated and personalized program for students who are new to these languages , allowing them to quickly catch up with their classmates.
Our approach fosters an understanding of interdisciplinary connections: all subjects are approached in connection with other fields of knowledge and the real world.
We integrate the Italian ministerial curriculum with content from the best international programs.
This approach develops in students a broad visionskills reasoning , and the construction of effective study methods.
Focus on: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Ample space is given to the study of music, including reading and writing the staff and using a wide variety of musical instruments.
Children experiment with various sports with professional coaches (Modena Military Academy, Panaro ASD) and undertake coding and robotics projects.
Education in theconscious use of technology is provided with the involvement of families.
EducatioNest adopts SEE LEARNING (Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning), an international program designed to promote social, emotional and ethical learning to educate children who always know how to respect themselves and others.
EducatioNest offers an excellent traditional Italian program for access to the best national higher education programs, complemented by an equally robust foreign program taught in English for access to international study programs (with the option of starting the AMERICAN DOUBLE DIPLOMA as early as eighth grade).
To support its program, EducatioNest places great emphasis on:
- Study and in-depth analysis of international traditions, customs and organizations
- Exchange projects and working groups with foreign schools
- Orientation projects for higher education and careers in Italy and abroad, in collaboration with educational institutions and companies.
Our program is the result of years of experience and educational research in Italy and abroad. The school is led by a management team education sector Italian and international.
EducatioNest Middle School also has a scientific committee composed of authoritative external members from middle and high schools.
Organization
The lower secondary school (middle school) is a private school and accepts children aged 11 to 13. It is a full-time service, Monday to Friday, with 40 hours of school attendance divided as follows :
- 30 hours of lessons to cover all subjects;
- 5 hours of supervised study where you can do your homework and learn a study method accompanied by our teachers;
- 5 hours of supervised recess to relax and make new friends.
The weekly timetable allows, depending on family needs or the children's preferences, to choose between having completely free afternoons or staying at school every afternoon until 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM (After School Clubs).
There is no school on Saturdays to preserve family time.
Children can stay at school after school hours and take part in sports, art and expressive activities with their classmates and specialized staff : swimming, karate, crossfit, chess, drama, coding, chemistry, philosophy, law, Latin.
For the subjects ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATH, and SCIENCE, the reference texts are in English, with additional study materials also available in Italian.
For the subjects ITALIAN LANGUAGE, HISTORY, and GEOGRAPHY, the reference texts are in Italian, with additional study materials also available in English. This ensures the development of balanced bilingualism.
Alongside the adopted textbooks, there is a vast bilingual library of encyclopedias, fiction, and Italian and foreign scientific, geographical, and historical texts, which allow students to conduct research and carry out in-depth studies, ensuring they always have complete, reliable , and contextualized.
