Celebration – Easter Egg Hunt and Eastern Concert
April 7, 2023 – With spring break just around the corner, we treated ourselves to a wonderful day of greetings and celebration. During the morning, the school children went wild with the traditional egg hunt, and then the entire school, children and staff, gathered in the garden to enjoy the Easter concert, masterfully performed, as always, by Maestro Alberto Dolfi on the piano. It was a magical moment of sharing and peace, in which everyone gently surrendered (some very gently… ZZZ… see the gallery!)

Closing of the "Choosing" series
April 20, 2023 – The series of eight meetings designed and implemented by EducatioNest in collaboration with the Bandolo Association, titled "Choosing – a dialogue on parenting and education," concluded. The program, designed for parents and teachers, aimed to reflect and discuss topics related to parenting and education: freedom, choice, developing independence, relationships, and navigating fears.
The final meeting of the series, a reflection on gentle nutrition led by Alice Vicini, psychologist and psychotherapist, and Alice Intieri, nutritionist, concluded with a pleasant refreshment buffet prepared by the school children. All recipes and preparation were made in EducatioNest!

Field Trip to the Luciano Pavarotti Municipal Theater,
April 3, 2023 – It was a special morning for 2nd graders, who had the opportunity to be guided through a different theater experience. Already accustomed to attending performances, this time they were able to observe the opera house from a different perspective: emptied of actors, musicians, and spectators, the protagonists became the boxes, the wings, the curtain, the captivating chandelier, the proscenium, and the orchestra. The children were thus able to explore and delve deeper into the technical aspects of the opera experience. What a wonderful opportunity!

Field Trip to Teatro Storchi – Sonia and Alfredo. A Place to Be.
Our three preschool classes spent a morning filled with enchantment and wonder attending the play "Sonia and Alfredo. A Place to Be." They reached the theater on foot, as always, through the historic center, a lovely stroll under the warm April sun that perfectly complemented the experience.

Field Trip to the Sassi di Roccamalatina Regional Park,
April 18, 2023 – The 3rd graders set off on the first of three spring adventures in regional parks! The first stop was the Sassi di Roccamalatina Regional Park, a full immersion in nature, including exploration, research, and still life photography.

Field Trip to the Secchia River Park,
April 20, 2023 – Another 3rd grade trip. This time, they reached the Secchia River Park to observe the hydraulic works of the floodplains up close and learn about the park's flora and fauna.

Field Trip to the Fontanili Regional Nature Reserve,
April 27, 2023 – Our nature triptych concluded with a visit to the Fontanili Nature Reserve. Located halfway between Reggio Emilia and Parma, this small 37-hectare reserve protects one of the region's last examples of lowland springs, the "fontanili," clear bodies of water surrounded by thick reeds or hygrophilous brush, and long canals that cut through cultivated fields.

Field Trip to the Scale Museum, Campogalliano,
April 17, 2023 – Weights, measures, and their history; an interdisciplinary journey through history, science, and mathematics. The museum was born from the desire of the Municipality of Campogalliano to create, in an area that has produced scales since 1860, a museum dedicated to this instrument that has accompanied human life and ensured fair trade to the point of becoming a symbol of human and divine justice. Children were able to experience these fascinating instruments firsthand, from their origins to their historical evolution.

Field Trip to Modena Sport Fair
, April 21, 2023 – Our elementary school's three-year program participated in the Sports Day, organized by CONI for Modena schools, to introduce children to various sports. The students were able to try out a wide variety of individual and team sports and interact with instructors. The initiative was chosen because it fits within the school curriculum of PE and physical and wellness education, which are crucial for children's healthy development.
