The preschool years are precious years in a child's growth. For some, it's the beginning of a schooling journey; for others, it's a continuation of an educational journey.
In any case, these are the years when independence is strengthened. While during the nursery years, the teacher accompanies daily independence with gestures and words, gradually, during the preschool years, children become responsible for their own personal belongings, and recognize and manage daily routines and moments of personal care and hygiene.

These are the years in which many transversal skills , such as observation, analysis, listening, reading, and reflection on the natural world, thedevelopment of logical-scientific thinking, empathetic skills, the ability to listen and accept different points of view , and communication. The expressive languages ​​explored during the nursery years are refined and mastered during the preschool years, and children begin to create consciously.

The period between the ages of 3 and 6 is also an important time for language development, a period during which children engage in extensive metalinguistic reflection and organize the phonetics and grammar of their languages. These are years in which exposure, and especially individual and comparative reflection on languages, are of fundamental importance and must be supported by teachers to build the pre-skills essential for primary school, where languages ​​will be formalized. To enable this, children spend the school day immersed in the English language and are exposed to the Chinese language and culture on a weekly basis.
