For Ukraine
Deeply shocked by the events that hit Ukraineat the end of February 2022, EducatioNest immediately decided to makeitself available to help refugees arriving in our city.
EduCare is about building community: driven by the values that already underpin our school – acceptance, equality, respect for rights, participation – we have therefore launched a series of actions that have involved the entire school, our families and the local area.
Our goal is concrete: we want these people to have practical tools so they can quickly and peacefully become independent in a new country and have the opportunity they deserve to get their lives back on track.
A little, but done well: starting from the foundations of independence—language, socialization, education, work—we have structured a project with phases and actions that are sustainable for us and truly helpful for them.
The actions described below have flowed naturally, thanks to the input of many people in our community, and have materialized into a broad and comprehensive project. Starting with the collection of basic necessities, it has expanded to include shelter for many families, a basic Italian literacy course, school inclusion for children, and will hopefully conclude with the reintegration of adults into the workforce.
